Upcoming Events 2015: Aylsham Walkers are Welcome

Walkers-Are-WelcomeYou will be pleased to hear that Aylsham became an accredited  ‘Walkers are Welcome’  town in September 2014 joining the Walkers are Welcome UK Network, which is a nationwide initiative launched in 2007 to encourage towns and villages to be ‘welcoming to walkers’.

The network has expanded rapidly and there are now over 100 locations across the UK that have joined this innovative community-led scheme to benefit from Walkers are Welcome accreditation.

The town of Aylsham is one of the biggest walking hubs in Norfolk, with our very own Weavers’ Way and Marriott’s Way, including many of our circular walks, running through it.

Aylsham ‘Walkers are Welcome’ committee have organised another fantastic calendar of guided walks this summer, which everybody is welcome to attend.

Saracen’s Head Walk  – Saturday 18th April 2015

Brampton Circular Walk  – Monday 25th May 2015

Aylsham Railway Walk – Sunday 28th June 2015
